"A Charmed Life" is the 19th episode of Sailor Moon R. It was preceded by Trouble Comes Thundering Down and followed by A Curried Favor.
Plot
Mina and Lita defend Rini from two boys who are picking on her, but get into an argument over Mina being jealous of Lita over one of her boyfriends. Meanwhile, Rubeus sends Avery and Prizma to take over a crystal point located at a charm shop. Avery sends a droid named Jellax to help them. Anyone who buys their charms falls under their spell.
Serena, Lita, Mina, and Rini go to the charm shop, Serena with the intention of getting Darien to love her again. Lita and Mina argue some more, before Prizma and Avery reveal their true identities. Lita and Mina, having forgiven each other, and transform into Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus and fight Prizma and Avery, using Jupiter Thunderclap Zap and Venus but are captured by Jellax. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars arrive, but are also trapped by Jellax.
Serena transforms into Sailor Moon and destroys Jellax with Moon Scepter Elimination.
Notes
- This is the first of two times (the second time being in Sailor Moon Super S) that Lita and Mina get into a fight, then later forgive each other and learn new techniques.
- First and last appearance of Droid Jellax.
