Byruit is the fourth of the Witches 5 who serve Doctor Tomoe. She uses science to carry out her evil plans.
Character biography
Her first appearance was in Episode 14, Hello, Sailor Mini Moon, shadowed like the other witches except Eugeal.
Her first unshadowed appearance was in Episode 33, The Science of Love. After the death of Telulu, Byruit took over. As Julie Bardot, she tied with Amy for first place on an exam, but got into an argument with her. Byruit's plan involved using computers to extract Pure Hearts from the exam takers. She controlled all her machines with a bracelet called a nanocuff, which she also used to shoot a nano beam at Amara and Michelle when they arrived to fight her. The nanomachines in the beam threatened to dissolve the two Outer Sailor Scouts.
Sailor Mercury arrived and fought Byruit as Amara and Michelle transformed and attacked her with World Shaking and Deep Submerge. Sailor Moon then damaged Byruit's nanocuff with Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, causing it to backfire on her when she tried to attack, and the nanomachines in the beam slowly dissolved her until only her bracelet remained, which was destroyed.

Byruit has a bracelet called a nanocuff, which she uses to shoot an energy beam containing nanomachines that can slowly dissolve anything.

- Byruit has a slightly similar name and appearance to Bertie from Sailor Moon R.
- She is the only one of the Witches 5 to neither kill nor be killed by another of the Witches 5. Mimet killed Eugeal and was killed by Telulu, and Cyprin and Petirol were tricked into destroying each other.
