Kari is one of Serena and Molly's classmates who attend Crossroads Junior High School. She and her closest friend Yumi attended the fake Saffron's Star Quest Contest.

- The name "Kari" comes from the Dart Flipcards Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game, but this name was never used in the TV series.
- In the original Japanese version, her name is Kuri (くり).
- On IMDb, she was given the name "Lonna", in the Mixx novels, she was named "Lisa Brownridge", in the Sailor Moon Scout Guides she was named "Kuriko", and in the manga she was named "Karrie".
