"Much Ado About Babysitting" is the seventh episode of Sailor Moon R and the forty-seventh episode overall in the series. The episode aired November 30, 1995 on the UPN Network.
Plot
After targeting children in the previous episode, Alan and Ann decide that the energy they need for the Doom Tree has to be extracted from babies, so they send a Cardian named Skulker to drain energy from babies. The only one to escape the energy drain is Jordan Winston, but his mother is also drained, leaving her in the hospital, so until she gets her energy back, Serena and Darien decide to take care of Jordan.
As Serena and Darien look after Jordan, Raye looks into the fire at her temple to find out where Skulker will strike next. Ann goes over to help Darien take care of Jordan, but angrily storms out when he throws up on her. Jordan is soon able to walk. Amy tells Serena that Raye has sensed Skulker again, and they arrive at the scene to see Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus getting their energy drained as Skulker is targeting more babies. Serena and Amy transform into Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury to fight her.
Skulker is too strong for them, until she is distracted by the Moonlight Knight, and Sailor Mercury, more motivated than before, uses a new attack called Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze, which freezes Skulker. Sailor Moon destroys Skulker with Moon Scepter Elimination.
Jordan's mother soon gets out of the hospital, and Jordan says his first words, "Darien" and "Meatballhead".

- The episode title is a reference to William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
- Jordan's internal dialog is a reference to the 1989 film, Look Who's Talking, starring John Travolta, Bruce Willis and Kirstie Alley.
