A Curried Favor

Prediction of Doom

"Naughty 'N' Nice" is the 21st episode of Sailor Moon R. It was preceded by A Curried Favor and followed by Prediction of Doom.

Wiseman tells Rubeus that the invasion in the future is not going well because of four female warriors, whom Rubeus realizes are the Sailor Scouts. He sends the Negamoon Sisters to destroy the past ones and capture Rini. Rini runs off, as she feels rejected because of a comment made by Serena. After unsuccessfully trying to return to the future, she is attacked by Catzi and Bertie when she emits another moon beam, but Luna fights them off, but not without being seriously injured in the process. Serena finds Rini at a construction site, where the Negamoon Sisters all go after her at once. Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina transform into Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus. Sailor Mercury fights Bertie, Sailor Mars fights Catzi, Sailor Jupiter fights Prizma, and Sailor Venus fights Avery. Rubeus arrives at the scene and tries to snatch Rini, but Tuxedo Mask stops him, and Sailor Moon uses Moon Scepter Elimination. Rubeus teleports out of the way of the attack and retreats with the Negamoon Sisters. Rini now realizes the Sailor Scouts are on her side, while Wiseman realizes that Sailor Moon is the queen of Crystal Tokyo, and suspects that Rini is her daughter.

  • This episode features the epic showdown between the Sailor Scouts and Rubeus and the Negamoon Sisters
  • The song that plays during the battle is called "She's Got the Power" performed by '80s musician Stan Bush who also wrote and performed "Fight To Survive" from Bloodsport and "The Touch" from The Transformers: The Movie.
  • This marks the first time the Sailor Scouts meet Rubeus and the sisters introduce themselves to the formers.
