The Viz Media dub of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn?, lit. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon), (sometimes referred to as "Sailor Moon Classic"), is the second English localization of the Sailor Moon series. The Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon’s is a unabridged localization of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. Names for characters, locations and other content originally cut for time or deemed inappropriate for children or "Americanized" in the original localization by Optimum Productions, for DiC, Pioneer Entertainment and Cloverway Inc., are retained.

Viz Media's English localization of the first and second seasons of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R, debuted on Hulu and Viz Media's Neon Alley on May 19, 2014 and April 11, 2015. Sailor Pluto is the one of three Outer Sailor Scouts and a minor character in Sailor Moon R and Sailor Moon S. Unique among the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Pluto acts as the "Guardian of Time". In Sailor Moon R, she guards the Door of Time and Space and is responsible for sending Rini (the daughter of Serena Tsukino and Darien Shields) into the 20th Century after Crystal Tokyo is attacked by the Negamoon Family.

In Sailor Moon S, Sailor Pluto adopts the civilian identity Trista Meioh (冥王 せつな Meiou Setsuna), and aids her fellow Outer Scouts, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, in the prevention of Sailor Saturn's resurrection and the destruction of the Bureau of Bad Behavior.
